DataCycle can connect to and extract data from any Microsoft Access file containing tables and queries, supporting both versions 2003 and earlier (.mdb) as well as more recent versions (.accdb).
There is a specific direct connection type for database definition, which requires providing the full path and filename of the Access file.
However, if you need to access linked tables that the file contains from other data sources, it is necessary to define the connection type as ODBC and configure a DSN using Windows’ odbcad32 manager.
This allows online design mode for managing the structure of those linked tables.
